Engagement Pictures Option #3

Another one of our stops on the engagement photo tour will be the University of Alberta. Dan has done all of his post secondary schooling there, and is currently finishing up his PhD in Mechanical Engineering. I spent a lot of time there with friends going to school, so we thought it would be a great place to do some pictures. 

The idea for these ones is a little bit city. After all you can't have a great shoe collection and not show them off!

Engagement Picture Outfit for Dan #1

Of course I am not the only one that needs outfit options. Dan was shocked the other day to find out that he was going to actually come up with outfits as well. Since he has been busy with hockey the last month, and I know he will be reading this, here is an option that I thought would be great for him to match either of my first 2 options.

If you haven't noticed either, Dan has become quite the farmer in the last year!

The second option for the lake would be something a little less western, and a little bit more traditional to my style. Jeans, a great jacket and a cute shirt make this option #2 for the farm.

Engagement Pictures Option #1

Now that Dan & I are engaged it is time to get some engagement pictures done that we can use for the wedding. Dan has a good friend that wants to do the pictures which will be great. Now for the hard part....what to wear!

We are thinking of doing 2-3 different locations for the pictures; University of Alberta, the farm, and Dan's families cabin at Piegon Lake. This is where your help comes in! Let me know which of these outfits you like the best and hopefully we can come up with something as we are planning on doing pictures in the next 3-4 weeks.

This first outfit would be for pictures out at the farm. It is fun and flirty and option #1.

What to Wear: Cattle Show

The cattle show season is quickly coming up, with the first fall show of the season happening this weekend!

With cold, drafty barns you have to be prepared to go from being bundled up to going out with your friends for a few drinks in "The Swamp" at a moments notice. I think this outfit would work just perfect for those days!

I love a good splash of colour. In fact most of my outfits are a neutral or 2 with a colour pop in my shoes, necklace, or it this case with electric blue pair of pants! Sure this takes some confidence to pull off, but I love it!
